BAR HARBOR — Nicole Ouelette of Bar Harbor has announced the establishment of Breaking Even Communications, which provides Internet marketing and Web content creation services to small businesses and nonprofits.

Through social media, paid advertising, blogging and other types of online outreach, the company looks to help businesses create and maintain useful Web sites and promote their products and services online.

Ouelette formerly worked on the Web sites of The Ellsworth American and the Mount Desert Islander.
